Astute Asset Management FAQs
What information do you need from me?
We will need the basics to conduct a site inspection and provide you with a quote:
- site address
- full name
- contact number
- email (this is vital as we will be forwarding the quote via emailto you directly)
If possible, please also include:
- any pictures of the area/s
- rough square meters (m2)
What is your leading time?
It is normally no more than a week, however this depends on the time of year and type of works being conducted.
How quickly can you do the job?
Let me unpack this question for each of our services we offer:
- Emergency spill clean ups: Depending on the location, we can responded the same day; our average response time is 3 hours with water recovery capabilities.
- Graffiti removal: We offer same day service (T&C) for graffiti attacks & offensive Graffiti but on average 2 days, click here for more information on our graffiti removal.
- Standard pressure cleaning & sealing: can generally be done within the week, depending on time of year. We can guarantee that it will not be more than 10 days.
Are you insured?
Yes, we have $20 million public liability insurance.
What areas do you service?
We always go the extra mile to ensure a job is done to the highest standards. So we are prepared to travel where the job takes us to make sure our client is 100% happy with the results.

Can you do my job outside of business/weekday hours?
Yes, we use state of the art pressure cleaners which have been upgraded to run a lot quieter than the older models. In other words, this allows us to do your cleaning service outside trading hours without affecting your neighbors and other people in the area. We will also apply for any relevant permits from Gold Coast City Council (GCCC) when, and if, needed so it is one less thing for you to worry about.
How long does it take to complete the works?
This is different for every job or service as there are many factors that go into completing a job, such as:
- How big is the job (m2)?
- How dirty is the job?
- If it’s a clean/resurface/seal
- Weather conditions
On average, we take:
- 1 day to clean a standard house,
- 2 days to clean and seal,
- 3 days to clean resurface and seal
- standard Graffiti is hours, up to 50 m2 a day.

Benefits of Hot Water
Astute Asset Management always uses hot water when pressure cleaning, something we call our Eco Clean. The Eco Clean is the most cost-effective way to pressure clean, with the difference between hot and cold water noticeable right away, and also 9-12 months down the track. The hot water Eco Clean lasts much longer as it naturally sanitizes, killing the mold deep under the surface. Because of this, the Eco Clean can easily last 12 months before mold starts growing back. When this is coupled with a mold treatment, we have seen 18-24 months before the mold starts to grow back on an average surface.
What products do you use?
At Astute Asset Management we use a number of in-house products. In addition to being carefully sourced and rigorously tested, we always ensure that we deliver the best product and the best results for your requirements.
How do I know you’re not doing long-term damage to my surface?
Astute Asset Management has over 15 years experience, not just in the pressure cleaning and protective coating industry, but we also knowledge of the construction industry. Further to this, we have also attended many accredited courses like Think Brick and Soft wash Australia. In addition to these, our staff also hold many approved applicator licenses.
We are always striving to increase our knowledge base and stay up to date with all of the latest equipment and procedures so we can offer our clients the best service possible.
Do I need to do anything before you arrive on the day of my clean?
- Firstly, please ensure all windows and doors are shut.
- Also, please make sure there is no washing on your line (we would hate for you to have to wash it again).
- Although we are pet friendly at Astute Asset Management, we ask, where possible, that pets be removed from the areas of work. This is not due to harmful products, however, we just want to ensure the safety of your family member.
- If possible, please make sure outdoor furniture and all lose items i.e. pool toys/play equipment, is removed from the pool area/surfaces to be cleaned.
- Finally, we recommend letting the neighbors know what is happening
How much will it cost?
As stated above, there are many variables when it comes to pricing and quoting each job and service. With this in mind, we treat each quote as unique, giving it the attention to detail it deserves.
At Astute Asset Management, we always offer a free quote to our prospective and existing clients. In doing so, we have the opportunity to come and listen to your requirements, making note of your visions and expectations, measure up the size of the area/s, and take a few reference photos. After everything is noted, we collate this information and, using our 15+ years of experience, we submit a competitive quote within an average turnaround time of 24 hours.
What are your payment options?
We have facilities to cater for credit/debit card (except Eftpos unfortunately), bank transfer, direct deposit.
